I was driving through the city of Pineville last week and caught a glimpse of their American flag waving in the air over the levee. Given the recent extreme heat and humidity, it’s hard to imagine anything waving in the breeze. So, I grabbed my camera hoping to capture the moment … or to use a reference from KJA’s creative director – snap a happy accident! Looking at the bright stars and bold stripes made me think about the 4th of July and all the traditions that come with it … pool parties, fireworks, picnics, parades, bar-b-que meals, and family gatherings which made me wonder what everyone has planned for this Saturday.
Read on to see what the KJA crew will be doing on the 4th of July –some of our clients and friends have also weighed in!
Aleece Way: spending the long weekend with a best friend that will be visiting me
Leslie Smith: family fun time … BBQ, swimming, watermelon, and of course, a mini-fireworks show with my nieces

Michelle Corley: my options are still open…but I’m pretty certain the beach will be involved!

Too funny! If I would have known they were going to post this, when I was asked, I’d have come up with a better answer….but it is what it is. I have to work. That’s what happens when your family has restaurants and retail stores… I’m just posting this so nobody thinks David is a meany and I have to work for KJA. Nope, blame my Mom, lol.
